Golden Dragon Glossary of Game Terms
Plain-English definitions of Golden Dragon terms, including agent, lobby, credits, bet level, multiplier, boss, paytable, wild, free spins and redeem.
New players run into a lot of unfamiliar words. Here is what they mean.
Account and platform terms
- Agent: the person or team who sets up your account, adds credits and handles redemptions. See what a Golden Dragon agent does.
- Lobby: the screen you see after signing in, where the games are listed.
- PlayGD Mobi: the web address of the Golden Dragon lobby, and another name for the platform.
- Entries: the lobby’s name for the credits you play with. You get them by adding funds, joining promotions, claiming rewards or receiving bonuses.
- Winning: the balance of what you have won, shown beside your Entries. This is what you redeem.
- VIP Club: the platform’s points-and-levels rewards programme. See VIP Club explained.
- Redeem / cashout: a request to your agent to pay out from your balance. See cashout time.
Fish game terms
- Cannon: the weapon you aim and fire.
- Bet level: the cost of one shot. It also sets the size of your payout per catch.
- Multiplier: how many times your bet a target pays when caught.
- Catch: a hit that defeats the target and pays out. Not every hit is a catch.
- Boss: a rare, high-value target that takes many hits. King Kong’s Rampage and the other fish games each have their own.
Slot terms
- Reels: the columns of symbols that spin.
- Lines: the fixed paylines a slot pays on. A tile marked 25 Lines pays on 25 of them.
- All Ways: a slot with no fixed lines, where matching symbols on neighbouring reels count wherever they land.
- Paytable: the in-game screen that lists what every symbol pays and how features work.
- Wild: a symbol that can stand in for others to complete a winning pattern.
- Scatter: a symbol that pays or triggers a feature wherever it lands.
- Free spins: spins awarded by a feature that do not cost credits.
- Bonus round: a separate feature inside a slot, started by a set of symbols.
Keno terms
- Spot: a number you have marked on the card.
- Draw: the numbers the game picks for the round.
- Hit: one of your spots that matches a drawn number.
General terms
- RNG: random number generator, the software that decides each result.
- Session limit: the amount you decide in advance to use in one sitting. See managing your credits.
